They’re back!
By way of the elevator.
As you may or may not know, the Playground used to be a ballroom. For real!
And — GET THIS! HOW CRAZY IS THIS? — the ballroom had its own private elevator whose job it was to bring people directly up to our space to cavort and dance there.
But now the elevator is no more. Completely closed up and blocked off.
All that is left is this awesome, huge door that will never open again.
And a bell. That still rings!
But only sometimes. See? Magic.
Giving it to the elevator shaft.
At the Playground we use the elevator all the time. Not for going up and down though.
We use the idea of that hidden space behind the Playground.
When something is bugging us, we send it to the elevator shaft.
We imagine that the elevator shaft has the power to break down all of our pain, hurt and fear. To transform it into its essence. To return it to the earth to be healed.
Or something like that. I don’t know how it works but it totally works.
And not just pain, hurt and fear but anything. Whatever you’re dealing with.
Stupid things! Annoying things! Things you’re done with! It all gets put in the elevator shaft.
To the elevator shaft, Batman!
And what comes back is pure possibility. The essence of what you need. Loving, playful Playground goodness.
Magical things come by way of the elevator.
