I've just returned from the wilds of Darkest Norfolk, where there is no internet, to find a sudden spate of comments on my blog. 'What happened?' I wondered - for about a minute - and then I realised... :)

I've now learnt my lesson and taken the comment filter off, so noone will have to wait three days for me to approve their comments any more. :)

Mm, lazy afternoon in a cafe sounds so lovely. Maybe one with a great pile of cushions and a big window where we can sit and watch the world go by.

Kate did her introvert-in-a-large-group thing: get really quiet.

I really did! I'm not normally quite *that* quiet. I was more or less running on empty that whole week, and half way through the evening I suddenly found I barely had the strength to sit up! But it was wonderful nonetheless to sit there and listen to everyone, especially as I knew I didn't have to feel guilty about being quiet and tired, because I was with people who would understand. Hurrah for being allowed to be where you are.

I did my introvert-in-a-large-group thing: be obnoxiously charming and tell stories and ask questions and play with my hair so no one will notice that I am an introvert and now I have to interact with a group.

I do this sometimes too. :) Really takes it out of you, eh?

And thanks for the web stuff mention. Lovely Havi-readers, you are just the kind of people I love to work with!

If I ever was to move to the USA, Portland would be *very* high on the list of cities I would consider. But since that's not likely to happen, it is very high on the list of US cities that I want to visit. Up there with Taos! ;)

"Not being the big hippie anymore" is *exactly* how I felt after moving to Boulder from Oklahoma (and, before that, Texas). I know exactly how nice it feels, and I'm still sort of enthralled with that feeling.

Shucks! I love that you called me a "sweet goofball genius with a camera" -- that's exactly what I want to be. I have to put that on my website -- with your permission, of course.

We'd love to bring you as our guest at Selma, which -- as far as I'm concerned -- IS named after your Selma.

I also thoroughly recommend Kate. In general too, not just web design. She rocks.
