It is also through Juno's post that I discovered you, and I'm so happy I did! Not only because a lot of the things you write really resonate with me, but also because Shiva Nata called my name very *very* loud! I think it's something I truly needed. The DVD got here yesterday, and it won't be accumulating dust, that's for sure!

@JoVe - I resisted Ravelry for a while too, but wow. I truly believe it is the best website in the world. Bar none. You clearly don't need to use it at all, but you'll be amazed at how wonderful it is.

I am still reveling in my lack of coordination especially now that I threw my back out after taking a "face plant" and am even less coordinated than usual :-)

Well, not less coordinated, more like similarly uncoordinated but with an aching back on movement.

Oddly, my juggling is coming along better, despite my teenage juggling "coach" who lacks patience.

Some great posts that you've linked up to today. Made for some interesting reading.

I've realized that sometimes I don't have anything to say not because I'm blocked, but because I'm interiorly still. Emptiness can be a beautiful thing.

I cracked up about your stuckness around retreats because the one and only time I decided I'd go a whole weekend (at home) being completely silent and unconnected and inwardly focused I was so bored by 11 a.m. on Saturday morning that I set my kitchen sponge on fire in the microwave. Sadly, it wasn't even on purpose.

The funny thing is, when I don't make it "a thing" I'm quite comfortable being quiet--it was just in labeling it that I became a wanna-be arsonist...

<img src="http://fluentself.com/images/blog/ducks/Selma_tinyB.png">

Hi guys!

@Dick: Oh, I know exactly who wants two young women to dress up and come to his house. Some sick, twisted, pug-loving gentleman, to be sure.

But who would fit that description?

@Mel: Oh, neat! I am loving her blog so much. That's very cool.

@Vanessa: Hooray for quirk-embracing! Also, you wrote about hamsters!

@Robynn: I'm intrigued. Will take a look. I love the idea of procrastinating the way you really want to. Neat!

@JoVE: That's great that you know what you need, and that you're making your own system for it. Can't wait to read on your blog about what shape it takes. I'm learning slowly with the help of Jen Hofmann and Cairene Macdonald that personalized systems where you actually build them around what you want are so so so much better than the ones I keep trying to learn from books. :-)

Well, Robynn's comment isn't helping me with my luddite tendencies. I'm in serious resistance mode about Ravelry (not that my business is about knitting, though I do sell one knitting pattern through Wild Geese Fibres) and Twitter is just kind of baffling to me. Glad it is working for you and so many others though.

I've decided I need to spend less time procrastinating on the internet and more time actually knitting. So I ordered yarn yesterday. Instead of futzing around with things that I probably don't need to do regarding my business, I can maybe get a system going and then go knit.

I am famously uncoordinated. I do not do Shiva Nata, but thoroughly enjoyed your post on the subject. I celebrate anything that allows me embrace my "quirks!"

Love the "item" list.
Happy Wednesday to you too :)
