Fortunately for me we don't do Thanksgiving in Australia - I don't even know what it's for. Thanking someone for something I suppose. But I have to try very hard not to get a little bit depressed at christmas time. You just can't seem to pretend everything is normal and get on with things. People are in your face everywhere wishing you merriness and tinsel gets under your feet and in your hair.
