I had to come back and find this post….

I was on twitter recently (Hi, my name is Melinda and I’m a twitter addict) and noticed a comment from a guy about going to his grandmother’s 100th birthday party the next day.

The interesting thing was that I’d been at my daughter’s school assembly earlier that day, and overheard the guy two seats up talking about a 100th birthday party. I had to ask if it was him….

Yes, it was the same guy! I had sat two seats away from someone I sort of knew on twitter!

So while I’m pretty sure he’s not a burglar the point is that as twitter grows, and we extend our networks, the chances of meeting someone irl that we know on twitter increases. And they possibly won’t all be as honest as my new friend.

One more reason I heart wandering around in the Fluent Self archives. :) Plus there's a moral at the end of the story - oh joy! It's like I'm watching cartoons as a kid again. (They don't make them like they used to you know). P.S. Don't re-watch cartoons you watched as a kid. That’s the problem with burglars nowadays–they totally lack good taste in DIY and non-fiction.

In fact, I’ve already grabbed the domain for the new Twitter Stalker Burglar social networking site that will rock the TSB world, as they’re calling it. But we should probably just join forces or something before you one-up me again.

Actually not even sure if the Berlin Yoga Festival people even know that I’m coming too. It’s quite likely that they think they’ve engaged Selma to appear all by herself.

Quick question: When I make the quinoa, how many cups of quinoa per cup of water? That one always confuses me. The last house I stole, er, borrowed from had instructions on the cupboard above the stove.
