Bless you sweet Havi. Big hug back.

Icky experiences being what they are: Sometimes they sucker punch us into faster awakeness . . which hurts fragile egos like the dickens for a short while, but which pass just as quickly if we're willing to let them go. (which I definitely am . . or at least I'm practicing at being)

All is well. Soft. Hard.

Life is good. Struggle sucks recognition time . . floating freely. (cool clouds!)

Thank you

<img src="http://fluentself.com/images/blog/ducks/Selma_tinyB.png">

@Gail - oh, lovely. And you definitely shouldn't have to starve on the soft side. You're allowed to keep taking "action steps" in the hard while doing the soft.

Anyway, big hug. I'm sorry you had such icky experiences. Blech.

Gentle biggifying magician that you are, Havi, your words are reaching a place in me where they're really needed. Your way of doing what you did makes so much more sense to me than the (mystery-male-internet-guru-inspired) path I landed on a couple years ago . . that pretty much ate my money and spit me out.

I guess we all learn what we need when we need to. I struggled far too long (in my opinion) to unlearn and come back to the soft side - without starving in the process. Now here I am, a total non-overnight-praying-for-success-type-person who knows it's going to keep taking more time. I have to admit, though, that there are times I wonder if anyone even notices I'm here.

Okay, enough with the pathetic woe is me-isms. I'm cool. Success takes time. Who needs food anyway?

Thanks for taking time Havi. Hope springs eternal and all.

"It's not about claiming that you're better than anyone else. It's just about letting your light have a place too."

What a "pretty woman, blogging down the street", you are.

I love your love.

Your manifesto is bang on. If you can dig waaaaayyyyyy deep down to your authentic self (sorry, cliche), and peel back the layers, you'll ALWAYS find something amazing and pure and compelling and yep, even marketable.

Hooray! Also, I love that just about everyone who reads this blog has started using the words "noozletter" and "biggification". That rocks.

Good for you, Tina.

And also: a big, resounding, non-cheesy "good for you" to all the people who emailed me in response to this. There are a *lot* of people who think I wrote it just for them, and I did.

This is hard stuff, especially when you're right in the middle of it. So yeah, permission to ease off the "think big" pressure is always welcome.

*Internet hug*

Hello Havi, I am new to your noozletters and I am so happy to have attracted you!

This post and also your last noozletter (July 22) really hit home with me!
See I am starting a completly new life for myself, and 'thinking big' was how I was able to step out of my last profession, and into a totally new internet world of creating a website. But because of the many obstacles and lessons to learn about things I knew nothing about, it not only got me out of my comfort zone but also has done a number on my confidence, and that in turn has attracted others to me that have used critisism on me... to possibly make themselves feel better about themselves.
But through your wonderful writing you have inspired me to remember that we all are very unique and I will keep going strong to move forward and offer my gifts to the world, with what makes 'Me be me. By using my "real purpose" to shine my light,my experiences, wisdom, and love the best way I know how!
And I thank you Havi, for all your wonderful inspiration!
