@James & Harry (aka Men With Pens), right on. Thanks for the feedback on the feedback on the feedback.

This might give an entirely new meaning to the phrase "feedback loop" ... that would be terrible. I should erase that.

Anyway, you guys are the awesomest.

@Kathy
Whoah, I was unclear. Again. Sorry!

The thing I was working on was the situation when you've arrived at the blog and are scrolling down the page of posts.

On a post where there is no comments, there was this tiny "comment away!" hidden next to the categories. Now it has its own line and is much more noticeable.

However, just realized that if there ARE comments, it just says "6 comments" or whatever and you're supposed to figure out that this means join the conversation.

So back to the code on that.

And when you follow a link directly to a specific post, you get the standard "Leave a Reply" below the other comments ...

@Girlpie Mwah! Thank you.

And will think about if/how I can implement your suggestion. I laugh when I think about those super-popular blogs where you "have to" wade through say, 70 comments. I always feel a tiny bit guilty for not reading them all.

Is there a word for that? I mean, for not wanting to read everyone else's comments and then feeling guilty about that? Comment complex?

Just a quick note - we drive by at the blog owner's request and never by random choice, keyword search or happening through via a link.

That's how we ended up shooting up Havi's blog - she asked :)

Lovely idea for a series (although I suggest that maybe a portion of your first-time visitors may know a bit more about you and what to expect than MWP did because they either used keywords to find you, or read about you with a link like I did (IttyBiz), or are some other once-removed-but-not-from-another-planet type visitor.)

Not that MWP are from another planet. Although, now that I think about it...

Am thrilled to be learning from your learning; especially that COMMENT/REPLY request. I see it here at the end of the comments... might I ask if it'd be kosher to also add it to the end of your post -- in case someone just MUST reply before reading your comments... or is that rude? (I always read all the comments, first!) Or maybe it's only showing below the comments because it's still the featured post?

Anyway -- looking forward to seeing what you share -- thanks so much, where do we chip in on that $30 fee you paid for our take-aways?

P.S. The irony that I'm leaving a comment about being stuck on the De-stuckification expert's blog about not being able to find your LEAVE A COMMENT thingy is not lost on me. *cough*

Love the post, love the idea, love Men With Pens -- and I just spent at least 4 minutes scrutinizing every inch of your blog trying to find the above referenced LEAVE A COMMENT thingy.

Of course, I KNOW how to leave a comment, cuz I'm also a blogger, so here's my comment. But it's making me crazy and totally messing with my inner smarty girl that I can't find the frickin' LEAVE A COMMENT thingy.

Pls point out the obvious so I can stop obsessing.

Woot! This was the best review, the coolest post (hey, all about me!) and the neatest thing to read today.

No one has ever critiqued our critiqued, and I'm going to be stuck on your series until they're done. We truly enjoy the outside perspective and this is very, very coolness.

Cheers, Havi!
